Compatibility Guide

System requirements and other important planning information.

The following provides a basic outline of system requirements and compatibility information related to the installation and use of the LSSe64 system.  Hardware specifications have been intentionally omitted, as these vary greatly based on a number of factors unique to each law firm.  For specific recommendations and requirements, please contact LSS directly to discuss your specific business needs.

LSSe64 is delivered in both 64-bit and 32-bit versions and natively supports both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of all products listed below (wherever applicable).  The Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is required to operate LSSe64 and is available for download from Microsoft (free of charge).

Virtualization.  LSSe64 has been thouroughly tested in virtualized environments.  Server virtualization using products from VMWare, Citrix and Microsoft is becoming more common in law firms.  LSS encourages server virtualization whenever your specific business needs may suggest its use.
